Chill at Outer Banks Polar Plunge for Cystic Fibrosis

The annual Outer Banks Polar Plunge is back this month, returning to the Ramada Plaza in Kill Devil Hills with hundreds of brave volunteers ready to dive into the chilly waters of the ocean to help raise money to fight cystic fibrosis.

All pre-event registration includes a shirt and after-event meal.

All proceeds including registration fee go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  

Participants can register as an individual or as a team.

Prizes will be awarded for Biggest Team, Wackiest Costume, Top Fundraising Individual, and Top Fundraising Team. 

The current pre-event registration fee is $50 through February 12, after which any additional participants must register upon arriving at the event. Even if you don’t want to take the plunge, anyone who is interested make a donation today online here.

The 2017 Outer Banks Polar Plunge is happening on Saturday, February 18. 

Schedule of Events:

1:00 pm – 1:45 pm:  Check-in/Registration

2:00 pm: Plunge

2:15 pm – 3:00 pm: Thaw

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Chill (Restaurant location TBA)
