Marvel gets Strange in theaters this week, while Andrew Garfield goes to war, Trolls attack, and Miss Peregrine arrives at The Pioneer.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of November 4, 2016!

The film adaptation of the popular book, Tim Burton directs Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (rated PG13), starting Friday at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, playing through Nov. 10.

Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Marvel movie universe expands into trippy new territory with Doctor Strange (rated PG13), opening Friday at RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7pm.

Also new this week, former Spider-Man Andrew Garfield stars as a pacifist drafted for war in Hacksaw Ridge (rated R), opening Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:10pm. 

Earth 383 is also hosting a pre-movie party and art show at R/C Theatres today (Thursday) starting at 5pm.
