From Kinston, North Carolina, the Roman Sams Band will take the stage in concert at Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant and Tavern this weekend in Nags Head.

With a blend of rock and country favorites along with their own original music, the Roman Sams Band a five piece band built around vocalist Samantha Holland, with her high powered vocals recalling the likes of Janice Joplin, Journey, and AC/DC.

According to the band’s official Facebook page, Samantha displays a power voice that is matched only by her high energy performance in which she leaves everything on stage. Audiences leave feeling exhausted after having tried to keep up with her.

Lead guitarist/vocalist David Brown brings the soul through his interpretation of ZZ-TOP and The Grateful Dead. He rounds out his performance with some Wide Spread Panic. His guitar work leaves no doubt there is magic in his fingers!

Guitarist/vocalist Mathew Hart brings the haunting sounds of Ronnie Van Zant to the stage that will never disappoint. His slide guitar work is reminiscent of great blues players of the past. He adds a soulful element that gives the band sound a classic feel.

With a wide range of influences from funky to melodic, bassist Trey Horton holds down the groove in any song choice. The thumping of his bass can be felt in the chest of every party goer making it hard not to get moving on the dance floor.

Drummer/vocalist Joey Gillette sets the beat that gets everyone going. From the back of the stage, he commands attention and his background vocals round out a very talented group who always “leave em’ wanting more”!

The Roman Sams Band will be in concert at Kelly’s in Nags Head this Saturday, September 10.

Showtime is 10pm, and there will be a cover charge for admission at the door.
