Outer Banks Weekend Movie Update – July 31, 2015: ‘Vacation’ ‘Impossible’
The Griswolds go back to Wally World and Tom Cruise is back in action in theaters this week, while the Minions continue their stay at the historic Pioneer.
Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of July 31, 2015!
Minions (rated PG) are in search of an evil leader the animated comedy prequel to Despicable Me, continuing a two-week run at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo through August 6.
Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Also, happening this today, July 24, the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum is once again presenting free family film screenings every Friday this summer as part of the Movies on the Sound program, continuing this week with the animated comedy Wreck-It Ralph (rated PG). Click here for a preview!
Ed Helms (The Office, The Hangover) plays the adult version of Rusty Griswold (the son from the original comedy classics Vacation, European Vacation, and Christmas Vacation), who wants to recreate his family’s infamous trip to the Wally World theme park in the new reboot/sequel Vacation (rated R).
After opening yesterday (Wednesday), Vacation is now playing at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
Also starring Christina Applegate (Married With Children, Anchorman), and filmed partly in North Carolina, you can watch the official trailer in the player below!
Tom Cruise (Top Gun, Interview with the Vampire) is out to save the world again with his team of expert spies in the action-packed sequel Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (rated PG13), opening Friday with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
