Pea Island Wildlife Refuge Paddling Exploration Offered

This summer, from June through August, you are invited to paddling and exploration adventures at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. 

The National Wildlife Refuges Visitor Center on Roanoke Island is open Monday through Saturday, from 9am to 4pm, and Sunday from noon to 4pm. 

Admission is free. 

Alligator River and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuges are open during daylight hours year-round, as visitors are allowed to explore on their own, or for a list of exciting and educational guided programs, including canoe trips, Red Wolf howlings, bear excursions, bird walks, tram trips, turtle talks and more, you can click here.
