Shallowbag Beach Music Festival Highlights [Video / Photo Gallery]

Posted By on May 26, 2015

The 2nd Annual Shallowbag Shag Beach Music Festival took over Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo yesterday (May 25, 2015) with an Outer Banks Memorial Day concert that brought back all the classic sounds of featured performers Band of Oz, The Tams, The Embers, and Jim Quick and Coastline live on stage.

The well attended concert event also featured a special performance by Steamboat Funktion, a new band made up of a group of very talented student musicians from First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills.

OBX Entertainment was there bring you highlights of all the sights and sounds from the festival, and our own Sue Artz was invited on stage during The Embers’ performance to get a unique crowd shot including lead singer Craig Woolard surrounded by fans (pictured above).

  1. This was my second Memorial day Beach Music Festival with you guys!!! I didn’t think (at 55) I was capable of having that much fun in one day, but again the Shallowbag ‘Bug’ bit me! Great line-up of bands, fun loving people, and the most beautiful setting / venue, anywhere on the East Coast!!! Can’t wait for next year! We need “The Entertainers”, next year!!! Just a wish!!!
