1964: The Tribute returns to the Waterside Theatre on Sunday, June 21st. The popular tribute to the Beatles band, sponsored by Outer Banks Ace Hardware, is the first concert in the 2015 Live at the Waterside concert series presented by PNC. “1964” features songs from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era using period instruments and dressing the part to take listeners back to the height of the 1960s. Alistair Taylor of Apple Records stated, “The resemblance was uncanny, it sent shivers down my spine. It was just like the boys. Never have I seen another group go to such detail.”

Jefferson Starship is performing Sunday, July 12th at the Waterside Theatre in their only area appearance. The band features Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Jefferson Airplane founder, Paul Kantner, and Jefferson Airplane member, David Freiberg. Jefferson Starship continues to perform their repertoire of hits spanning all eras of their existence, including “Jane,” “Somebody To Love,” “Miracles,” “White Rabbit,”  “Count  On  Me,” “Find  Your  Way  Back”  and many more hits.

The final concert of the Live at the Waterside series is Resurrection—A Journey Tribute on Sunday, August 2nd. Nationally known Nashville, TN-based Journey tribute band will take you on a musical trip back to the days of big hair and acid-washed jeans. Several of the bands musicians have both played and collaborated with Steve Perry and Journey over the course of their careers. Other band members have worked with industry stars Toby Keith and Bryan Adams.  This summer, groove along with your favorite Journey tunes that let you relive hits such as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully”, “Anyway You Want It,” and countless others.

CEO, Bill Coleman, is excited to announce that PNC will again be sponsoring the concert series. “PNC understands the cultural and economic impact this event series brings to business owners and residents of the Outer Banks community,” said Brendan Medlin, PNC Bank branch manager and Lost Colony board member.  “We are proud to sponsor this major initiative for the second year.”

  1. We would like to purchase tickets for all three Summer Concerts. My husband is 40 year retired military- 100% disabled with brain injury. Last two times we came we sat on end of aisle in either side. We do not have to have ADA seating just end seats for two.

Please let me know how and where we can purchase these as I am not able to do so from my tablet for some reason.

    Thanking you in advance-
