Fujiwara, Lonely Teardrops Playing Outer Banks Friday the 13th [Concert Preview]

Posted By on January 26, 2015

Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills is hosting a pre-Valentine’s Day concert on Friday the 13th, featuring legendary local rock band Fujiwara with Virginia Beach’s The Lonely Teardrops live on stage.

Imagine a cocktail of the colorfully crowd pleasing stage antics of Southern Culture on The Skids mixed with the musical dynamics of The White Stripes, add a double shot of Link Wray and Dick Dale stirred vigorously in a Detroit Cobras martini shaker, and you would have only scratched the surface of the engaging packed party grenade that is The Lonely Teardrops.

The group currently consists of Katie Teardrops (guitarist, vocalist, songwriter) formerly of The Pimps, The Strap-Ons, The Curfew Breakers) and Crash LaResh (formerly of The Dexter Romweber Duo, Flat Duo Jets, and too many others to mention).

Fujiwara and The Lonely Teardrops will be live in concert at Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills on Friday, February 13.

Showtime is 10pm.

You can listen to three original tracks by The Lonely Teardrops below!

“Surfin’ Monkey”
