Acting Superintendent Kym Hall has announced that Wright Brothers National Memorial will join national park units across the country in honoring current and former servicemen and women and their families, as entrance to Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills will be free to all park visitors on Tuesday, November 11.

“National parks preserve places that commemorate our country’s collective heritage and they are iconic symbols of our country.  We thank our military forces for the sacrifices they made in defense of these special places and our way of life over the years,” stated Acting Superintendent Hall.  “On behalf of the staff of the Outer Banks Group, we invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy these treasured landscapes and wealth of cultural history they offer.”
