The Tams, Band Of Oz Headline Beach Music Festival [Concert Preview]

The Outer Banks summer concert season starts this Memorial Day Weekend with the 2013 Outer Banks Beach Music Festival, featuring an impressive lineup of shag-tastic legends live on stage at the Whalehead Club in Corolla.

 The Band of Oz and The Tams return to headline the annual day-long event, happening this Sunday, May 26.

The gates will open at 11am this Sunday at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, with local party band The Crowd opening the event.

Steve Owens & Summertime will take over at 12:30pm, followed by The Band of Oz at 2:15.

Beach music icons The Tams will take the stage starting at 4pm.

Picnics and 5-quart coolers (that can fit a 6-pack of soda) are encouraged, while larger coolers will be allowed for a $10 fee. There is a limit of one cooler per person.

Barbeque by High Cotton will be available for purchase, as well as beer, wine and refreshments on site.

Tickets are $20 each or $150 for groups of 10, and can be purchased online here.

The Whalehead Club is located at 1100 Club Road on Route 12 in Corolla, NC.
