Outer Banks KidsFest 2014 Returns to Roanoke Island Festival Park

KidsFest returns to the Outer Banks this weekend with a full day of family fun.

Presented by the Children and Youth Partnership for Dare County, KidsFest 2014 is happening this Friday, May 9, at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.

The event will include hands-on crafts and activities for younger children, including face painting, blocks and bubbles, photo booths, ice cream, a Roanoke Island Volunteer Fire Department fire truck, and more.

Admission is free, and families are invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the park.
