Koru Village Beach Klub In Avon Announces 2014 Concert Series

Koru Village’s Beach Klub will open on May 10 with a full summer schedule, including the Beach Klub’s Music by the Beach Concert Series.

The venue will bring a variety of genres to Cape Hatteras, some musicians visiting the island for the first time and others returning to play at the Beach Klub’s PapaWack Theatre for their third year in a row.

“I am so glad Carbon Leaf will be playing down at Koru Village’s Beach Klub in Avon this summer! Vibe is everything, and when we think Koru provides the right natural ambience and environment without detracting from it. The Beach Klub is the perfect beach setting for a concert, and will be a great nightcap to the End of Summer 2014,” said, Barry Privett of Carbon Leaf. 

Beach Klub’s Concert Series:

May 30- Rock the Cape- A festival to benefit the Dare County Arts Council featuring Southern Culture on the Skids, Cashmere Jungle Lords, Eddy & The Rip Tides, and the Community Music School

June 12- Spiritual Rez

June 19- Badfish- A Tribute To Sublime

June 26- Holy Ghost Tent Revival

July 4- Live Music & Fireworks at the Avon Fishing Pier

July 10- On The Border- The Ultimate Eagles Tribute

July 17- The Original Wailers

July 24- Hackensaw Boys

July 31- Band of Oz

August 7- Alchemystics

August 14- Proverbial

August 21- Carbon Leaf

August 28- The Embers featuring Craig Woolard

Tickets are available now at brownpapertickets.com and will be available at Koru Village by the end of April.

“The Embers are looking forward to another fantastic trip to Koru’s Beach Klub this summer. This year we will be returning to Hatteras Island featuring long time lead vocalist and sax player sensation, Craig Woolard back in our lineup!  See you then,” said Bobby Tomlinson of The Embers.

The Beach Klub hosts two other weekly summer events, The Avon Luau and Teen Night. On Tuesdays, The Avon Luau will feature live music, fire dancers, traditional island food, and drinks. Children are welcome to swim in the pool with live mermaids at Tuesday’s Luau too.  On Wednesdays, Teen Night features live DJ music, games, snacks, and more.
