 Playing at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, the all-star action drama The Monuments Men (rated PG13), starts Friday for a one-week run.

 Directed by George Clooney (Oh Brother Where Art Thou), the cast also includes Cate Blanchett (Lord of the Rings), Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting), and Bill Murray (Ghostbusters).

Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Leading this week’s new releases is the fast and furious new video game adaptation Need for Speed (rated PG13), opening Friday at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
