Winter Lights Brighten Elizabethan Gardens Christmas

The Elizabethan Gardens on Roanoke Island is hosting a spectacular 25-night event of holiday lights and sights this month.

Winter Lights at the Elizabethan Gardens, Roanoke Island - Nov. 30, 2013 through Jan. 4, 2014

Open Tuesday through Saturday this week and next week, and then on Dec. 26-28 during Christmas week and Jan. 2-4 during New Year’s week, you are invited to stroll enchanted garden paths and discover the joy of the season with holiday lights, sights and sounds transforming The Elizabethan Gardens into an illuminated winter wonderland.

The radiant glow of the gardens, traditional holiday décor, and fantastical displays are a true spectacle to behold, as festive trees grace the Gatehouse and Reception Hall, and a crackling open-air fire warms the Great Lawn.

Seasonal gift shop and plant sales coincide and are also ongoing this month at The Elizabethan Gardens.

Admission to the Winter Lights event at The Elizabethan Gardens is $10 for adults, $8 for ages 6-17, and $5 for ages 5 and under. Extended passes are also available at the Gardens.
