Punk Rock Triple Bill Invades The Pit [Concert Preview]

Posted By on December 5, 2013

The Pit in Kill Devil Hills has announced a rocking post-Christmas, pre-New Year’s triple punk bill this month, featuring The Manimals, The Lonely Teardrops, and Mutant League Eddie and the Rip Tides live in concert.

The Manimals are a high energy band from Raleigh. Having been together for just over a year, they have created an extensive set list consisting of all original songs. Their style covers a wide range of sounds that will either get you on your feet or send you into a deep trance.

Of Virginia Beach’s Lonely Teardrops, NME Magazine says, “Imagine a cocktail of the colorfully crowd pleasing stage antics of Southern Culture on The Skids mixed with the musical dynamics of The White Stripes, add a double shot of Link Wray and Dick Dale stirred vigorously in a Detroit Cobras martini shaker, and you would have only scratched the surface of this engaging house party grenade.

“These kids have discovered the magic formula for hatching even the harshest wallflower out its shell.”

You can preview the Teardrops in action in the player below!

The Manimals, The Lonely Teardrops, and Eddie and the Rip Tides will be live at The Pit in Kill Devil Hills on Saturday, December 28.

Doors open at 10pm.

The Pit Surf Shop and Boardriders Grill is located at Milepost 9 on U.S. 158 in Kill Devil Hills.

The Manimals, The Lonely Teardrops, and Mutant League will be live at The Pit on Dec. 28, 2013.
