Dare Arts Council Presents Holiday Small Works Show
The Dare County Arts Council will host their annual Holiday Small Works Show for the month of December.
Support your local artists this season, as you discover fine art and handcraft that will please everyone on your gift list during this holiday tradition.
The show will feature original works of art, including paintings, pottery, glass, photography, jewelry, fiber, metal, wood and mixed media created by our local artist members.
Dare County Arts Council director Chris Sawin says “The annual small works show is really a lot of fun. Many of the artists enjoy working in the smaller format, and our patron’s love the variety of artwork from which they can choose.”
An opening reception will be held on December 6 from 6 to 8pm, which will feature live Christmas music on the front steps, holiday treats, hot chocolate, and libations.
The exhibit will continue through December 28.
Gallery hours are 10am to 5pm, Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4pm on Saturdays.
Admission is free and open to the public.
