The Counselor brings together some of Hollywood’s biggest names in theaters this week, while The Pioneer gets Insidious for Halloween.

Danielle Bisutti is the ghost with the most in ‘Insidious: Chapter 2’.
From the director of Saw and this summer’s The Conjuring, the sequel Insidious: Chapter 2 (rated PG13), opening at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, starting this Friday for a one week run.
Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

The only new release playing locally this week is the all-star crime drama The Counselor (rated R) from director Ridley Scott (Alien, Gladiator, Prometheus), opening on Friday at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
