Hatteras Island Art Show Announced In Rodanthe

The Hatteras Island Art Show is coming to Rodanthe this weekend.

 The event will feature 15 local artists, including Kim Mosher, Jim Mitchem, Betty Kungle, and more, showing off their tie dyes, soaps and lip balms, hula hoops, paintings and prints, hats and scarves, sea glass art, woodworks, jewelry, and other fine handcrafted Outer Banks art.

Hatteras Island Meals will be holding a bake sale as well, and they will be accepting baked goods as donations early in the day.

There will also be live acoustic music from members of the band Waterhigh, and BBQ sandwiches from Waves Market & Deli will be available.

This is a event is kid-friendly, as there is a playground on site and there will be hula hoop activities.

The Hatteras Island Art Show is happening this Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10am to 5pm at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Center, located just south of Liberty Gas Station in Rodanthe.
