‘Eastbound And Down’ Season 4 Premiere Date Announced [NC Film]
The HBO comedy series Eastbound and Down, starring Fredericksburg, Virginia’s Danny McBride, started filming Season 4 in Wilmington, North Carolina on Friday, and we now have a premiere date announced and an early teaser for the new season revealed.
Season 4 of Eastbound and Down will premiere at 10pm on Sunday, September 29 on HBO.
Played by Danny McBride (Your Highness, Pinapple Express, This is the End), Eastbound and Down‘s anti-hero “Kenny Powers” is from a fictionalized version of Shelby, North Carolina. Season 3 ended with Kenny returning home to Shelby.
Season 1 was filmed in Southeast North Carolina in 2008, while Seasons 2 and 3 split locations between Puerto Rico, Myrtle Beach, and Wilmington.
Danny McBride was born in Statesboro, Georgia, but was raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he graduated from Courtland High School and where he still lives today. He also attended the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
