Posted By on May 3, 2013

Family movie night returns to Nags Head starting this month when Movies on the Sound will be screened outside after sunset at the Outer Banks Event Site, to benefit the Children at Play Museum.

Brave

The first family friendly film to be screened this year will be Disney Pixar’s 2012 hit animated adventure Brave (rated PG), playing on Friday, May 10.

In the movie, determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

Admission is free and parking (usually $10 per car) has been waived for this film.

Viewers are invited to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs, as concessions will be available for sale.

Gates open at 7pm and showtime is at dusk.
