The annual Taste of the Beach Food and Wine Festival kicks off on Thursday, March 14 and runs all St. Patrick’s Day weekend through March 17, with more than 50 different events happening throughout the Outer Banks each day.

The mouth watering fun culminates with the Grand Tasting at Pamlico Jack’s in Nags Head, featuring more than 20 local restaurants, in addition to beer and wine booths included with a ticket to this adults-only event for ages 21 and up.

This year’s Grand Tasting has been split into two sessions, with the first beginning at 4:30pm until 6:30, and the second session from 7 until 9pm.

Restaurants will be competing for the 4th Annual TOB’y Awards; Best Booth Presentation, Best In Show, Best Outer Banks Catch, and the two top awards, the Chefs Award and People’s Choice Award. These awards will be announced at the second session, but attendees of both sessions will have the opportunity to cast their votes.
