TV’s most famous zombie, North Carolina actress Addy Miller is returning to Virginia Beach this fall to walk with the undead at the Hampton Roads Zombie Walk and meet hundreds of fans at the second Blood at the Beach (BATB) Horror Convention in November.

Best known as the little girl zombie in the opening scene of the first episode of AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead, Addy Miller already has over two-dozen screen credits, including The Secret Life of Bees and The Three Stooges, and will soon be seen in Deer Crossing 2: The Legend of Carvin County with genre icon Doug Bradley (“Pinhead” from Hellraiser).

OBXentertainment.com recently caught up with the busy 12-year-old Triangle area native and asked her how the Virginia Beach zombie walk she attended in April compared to others she has seen around the country.

“Surprisingly,” Miller said, “I have not been to many zombie walks, but I really liked the Virginia Beach Zombie Walk earlier this year at Blood at the Beach.

“It was the first time I actually wore makeup to a zombie walk and there were people everywhere that I got to talk to and take pictures with, it was just really great to have that time with fans that love zombies like I do. I look forward to doing it all again.”

This time, Addy’s bringing along fellow Walking Dead cast member Irone Singleton, who plays T-Dog on the show, to both the Virginia Beach zombie walk and BATB convention.

In addition to Miller and Singleton, the Hampton Roads Ghostbusters and the Roller Derby Dolls will also be at the Hampton Roads Zombie Walk on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Virginia Beach Town Center. The celebrity meet and greet with Addy and Irone begins at 2pm, with both cast members present for photos, prizes, and food collection.

Event organizers tell us there will also be a costume contest at the walk, with prizes for best dressed couple, best dressed kid age 12 or under, and best theme.

The zombie walk will start at 3pm and end at approximately 4pm, with doors to the BATB Convention opening at 5pm on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Cavalier Hotel on the oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA.

Addy told us she is excited to be a returning guest at the convention.

“When I attended Blood at the Beach in April,” she said, “I was excited because it was like a mini renunion with some of my favorite guests from shows I have attended before.

“This time, I am excited because there are a lot of people going that I have never met and are new to the convention scene. So I can’t wait!”

The convention runs from Friday, Nov. 9 to Sunday, Nov. 11, and OBX Entertainment will be hitting the road again to bring you exclusive local coverage of this killer event, where Miller and Singleton will join other Walking Dead cast members, as well as a Weird Science cast reunion and dozens of other celebrity guests.
