NC-Filmed 'Piranha' Sequel Videos Surface
Unpredictable actor and former Celebrity Rehab television star Gary Busey is featured in a new video promoting the upcoming feature film Piranha 3DD, which was filmed in Wilmington, NC.
The clip featuring Busey (The Buddy Holly Story, Big Wednesday, Lethal Weapon, Point Break) was released yesterday via Hitflix. You can watch it in the player below!

The day before the above clip went viral, the studio released an official clip from the film itself, featuring former Night Rider and Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, which you can watch here.

The sequel to 2010’s Piranha (which itself was a remake of the 1978 cult classic) opens in theaters on June 1st.
It was actually shot in 3D rather than converted in post production, with Wilmington’s Jungle Rapids water park doubling as the fictional ‘Big Wet Water Park’ in the movie.

In addition to Busey and Hasselhoff (as himself), Piranha 3DD also stars Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th), Katrina Bowden ( NBC’s 30 Rock), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Sierra Holmes (VH1’s Scream Queens), and Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), reprising his role from the first film.
