Valentine's Day 2012 on the Outer Banks

Tonight is date night for sweethearts, so here’s a roundup of some of the most romantic happenings on the Outer Banks for Valentine’s Day 2012!

Kelly’s in Nags Head has local singer/guitarist Kim Kalman in the Tavern from 6-8pm, followed by karaoke with DJ Hambone from 8-12.

Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills is offering a Valentine’s dinner special featuring 3 courses for $30.

Trio in Kitty Hawk has their Aphrodisiac Wine & Beer Tasting either at 5 or 7pm for $30 a person, with a limit of 12 individuals per tasting. Reserve ahead to secure your spot.

Equine Adventures is hosting a special Valentines Day romantic horse ride down the beach for $100 per rider. Times vary and spaces are limited.

The Pioneer Theatre in Manteo is showing the uplifting musical “Joyful Noise” tonight at 8pm. Tickets are $5.

Also in theatres tonight, KDH Movies 10 has the romantic blockbuster “The Vow” showing tonight at 5:05 and 7:30pm.

If staying in is more your thing, there’s plenty more viewing offerings on TV tonight, including the romantic comedy “Letters to Juliet” (2010) at 8pm on Showtime 2 local cable channel 401; the classic holiday slasher “My Bloody Valentine” (1981) at 8pm on Epix local channel 490; and the 2010 hit “Valentine’s Day” at 9pm on HBO Family local channel 503.
